About Spotlight Education Support
What does Spotlight Education Support offer?
Personalised consultation; bespoke advice and practical support for educators and parents of children with a range of learning needs or diagnosed Special Educational Needs. Please see Support Options for more specific information.
Why could it help your child?
Life moves fast in busy schools; teachers work hard to support large groups of children. The school Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) works hard to design provision for many children who all have very specific needs, but no-one works harder than the child with a learning barrier or disability. One size for provision certainly doesn't fit all, and yet, with limited time and budgets this is often the best that schools can do.
Who needs this support?
Children with suspected learning needs or diagnosed Special Educational Needs and Disabilities such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, ADD, visual/hearing impairments, speech and language difficulties.
Parents who would like more personalised support strategies for their child than they are currently receiving at school. Or, for parents who are concerned that their child might have an undiagnosed learning need.
